Data protection policy

INTRODUCTION

The Privacy Policy (hereinafter: the Policy) aims to ensure that the data of its Clients are collected and used in a transparent, confidential and secure manner. This data protection policy is an integral part of:

  • General conditions for the purchase of online training products on the VisionCompliance SA website,
  • General conditions of registration for the face-to-face training of VisionCompliance SA,

and any online purchase, other than training, from the VisionCompliance SA website.

 

DEFINITION

In this document, is called “the Customer”, anyone who registers on the website visioncompliance.ch to buy training online or enrolled in a face-to-face training.

LOCATION OF DATA STORAGE

The data provided by the Clients is stored at the Swiss company Infomaniak.

 

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

Acceptance of the Policy

It is important to read this Policy carefully to understand VisionCompliance’s practice regarding the information provided by its Clients and how VisionCompliance will handle it. If the Customer does not agree with these practices, they have no choice but to not purchase online training and not sign up for face-to-face VisionCompliance training.

Modification of the Policy

VisionCompliance SA reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time without notice. The new Policy comes into force within 30 days of its publication on the website visioncompliance.ch.

VisionCompliance invites its Clients to regularly consult the latest version in force, accessible on the website visioncompliance.ch. If any major changes are made, VisionCompliance will email its Customers to review these changes before they take effect.

If the Customer does not request the cancellation of their account after posting or sending notice of any changes to the Policy, this means that the Customer accepts the updates. If the Customer cancels his account, he will no longer be able to access the purchased courses; no refund can be requested.

1) The data is stored through the Stripe payment service.

Other data collected

VisionCompliance automatically collects the IP address and information related to the use of its website through the Google Analytics service. This information is necessary to improve the navigation in the website visioncompliance.ch

CUSTOMER’S RIGHTS

  • The Customer who created an account can access and update his information in his account at any time,
  • The Customer may deactivate his account if he no longer wishes to purchase training or VisionCompliance products,
  • Customer may request what VisionCompliance information has been collected about them
  • Customer may request that VisionCompliance make changes to the personal data Customer has seen but can not modify in their account,
  • The Customer has the right to obtain from VisionCompliance the erasure of his personal data (right to be forgotten),
  • Customer may opt out of VisionCompliance promotional communications by using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting VisionCompliance to remove their contact information from the VisionCompliance promotional mailing list. Even after refusing to receive promotional messages, the Customer will continue to receive messages following the purchase of online training.
  • The Customer may refuse the use of cookies

USE OF COOKIES

Why use cookies

A “cookie” is a text file placed on the user’s computer during his visit to the VisionCompliance website. In the Customer’s computer, cookies are managed by his internet browser.

VisionCompliance uses cookies on its website for the purposes of navigation of its visitors, optimization and customization of its services on its platform by memorizing the preferences of visitors to its website.

Disabling cookies

The visitor of the website visioncompliance.ch may at any time disable cookies by selecting the appropriate settings from his own browser to disable cookies.

However, disabling cookies may reduce or prevent accessibility to all or part of certain functions, such as the generation of training test certificates.

 

DATA PROTECTION

The personal data of the Clients introduced by the Clients when registering for a face-to-face training or the purchase of an online training on the website visioncompliance.ch are intended for its own use by VisionCompliance. They are not passed on to the subcontractor companies that VisionCompliance can use in the performance of its services.

VisionCompliance does not sell or rent the personal data of its Clients to third parties.

Online training is paid through Stripe (www.stripe.com). This company has a data protection policy. VisionCompliance Customers can read Stripe’s policy from its website at the bottom of the page under “Resources” and “Privacy and Terms”.

Are reserved the cases where the law requires the transmission of the personal data to thirds or that VisionCompliance SA considers in good faith that a disclosure of this information is necessary for the purposes of protecting its rights, the safety of the website visioncompliance.ch or even to analyze fraud cases.

 

DURATION OF DATA CONSERVATION

For the Customer who buys an online training

The personal data are kept as long as the Client does not close his account. However, if a Client no longer uses his account for a period of 2 years, his personal data will be deleted.

In the event that the Customer’s account has been suspended or blocked under the Terms and Conditions, VisionCompliance retains the Data of the Clients concerned for a period of 2 years from the suspension.

For the Customer who buys an online training

The mandatory personal data recorded during the registration of a face-to-face training are kept as long as the person works with the same employer. At the Customer’s request, his data may be deleted at any time.

 

However, VisionCompliance keeps indefinitely the name, first name, training (s) followed and their year as well as exam results. The goal being to be able to publish duplicates of certificates or diplomas when a Customer lost his document. Customer may request that this data be deleted; he will no longer be able to request a copy of his exam results.

 

IT SECURITY

VisionCompliance uses generally accepted technological and organizational security measures to ensure that personal data collected is neither lost, diverted, accessed, modified, nor disclosed by unauthorized third parties.

 

QUESTIONS AND CLAIMS
